Central Corridor Funders Collaborative

The Central Corridor Funders Collaborative is a group of local and national funders working with others to unlock the transformative potential of the new light rail transit line along the Central Corridor between Saint Paul and Minneapolis. The Funders Collaborative expects to invest $20 million over 10 years. To date, we have raised $5 million to invest in corridor-wide strategies, planning and action that address corridor-wide benefits, and supported the formation of several multi-sector partnerships that are pursuing these benefits. University of Minnesota Tourism Center Carlson Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Chair

Carlson Chair projects have made an impact in every Minnesota county and tourism sector. Our dollars have been leveraged to obtain an additional $0.95 for every dollar spent. Little Mekong is made up of the Asian businesses on University Avenue. It is named after the Mekong River. One of the largest rivers in the world, the Mekong River flows from Tibet in China through Laos, Myamar (Burma), Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Cultures from all these regions along the river and more are represented on University Avenue in Saint Paul. More
