The WCHD Development Group provides ethnic tourism development leadership, advocacy, and planning for the World Cultural Heritage Corridor, a commercial area along University Avenue, from the Capitol to Snelling Avenue. It's in the WCHD that some of the most ethnically diverse enterprises in Minnesota offer visitors the unique opportunity to explore the world in a Saint Paul neighborhood. HUD Community Challenge Grant

On September 16, 2011 the WCHD's ethnic cultural destinations submitted a joint letter of support and commitment to the City of Saint Paul for a HUD Community Challenge Grant proposal. See the Challenge Grant Letter.

Implementation Fundraising

Purpose: WCHD seeks funds to implement local demonstration projects around placemaking, marketing, wayfinding, visitor readiness, policymaking, cultural literacy, tourism education and more.
